Bess Spring/Summer 2009

NYC’s BESS is designed by Douglas Abraham. The collection consists of re-worked and re-finished vintage deadstock garments; t-shirts are printed with imagery from zodiac woodcuts,¬† combat boots are beat to hell and studded with custom-aged hardware, and heavy leather motorcycle jackets are re-stitched, studded, and aged to perfection. 1. Studded Jacket. Restored vintage cowhide. Cotton lining. Very heavy. Slightly oversized fit. Beautiful aging details. $1998 + Tax.
2. Assorted T-Shirts. Vintage deadstock cotton. Soft, lightweight material. Printed with various woodcut images. $158 + Tax.
3. Combat Boots. Vintage deadstock. Custom distressing unique to each pair. Studded with custom aged pyramid studs. Sizes run large. $388 + Tax.
