Our first shipment from NYC’s Hyden Yoo has arrived. This season is inspired by tennis stars, with each piece bearing the name of one of these most eminently stylish players. Another new addition to the Roden Gray lineup for Spring ‘09 is Hyden Yoo. Yoo’s unconventional start in fashion came after he won Fear Factor, quit his day job and took the prize money with him to New York to start his own mens-wear line. By taking classic pieces and updating them with modern cuts and details, Yoo adds a little bit of edge to what he describes as “Brooklyn hipster meets Wall-Street banker.” His Spring presentation was a highlight of the Gen Art show in September, and is only the start to what looks to be a promising future for Yoo.
